This Is Not a Post About Smoothies

Ok, I lied. It is. 

Here's a fact: this is not a food blog. 
Here's another fact: I make amazing smoothies. 

So here's my recipe for Hannah's Sunshine Blend Anti-Anemic Vitamin C Protein Smoothie!!



- a good bunch of frozen strawberries, peaches, mangos, and pineapples (if I had to guess I'd say about a pound and a half)
- a handful of spinach (I swear you can't taste it. Trust me. I don't like green things in my breakfast food, but spinach has zero flavor and crap tons of protein)
- sparkling water/milk/green tea if you need a caffeine boost, about 2 cups
- a dollop of yogurt, Greek yogurt (more protein)
- roughly a tablespoon of blackstrap molasses (which looks like tar but tastes lightly like brown sugar and has all the goodness of a prescription iron pill)
- throw it all in and mix it together!

I promise you this is the best smoothie you've ever made. PLUS the health benefits are super real; one of these bad boys a day got my blood iron levels up so much I don't have to take medication!

Anyway, I hope you like it. I swear my next pot will not be about food.
